Then, head to the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica to take the special elevator to the first terrace of the dome to get a close look at the mosaics. Then, climb to the top of the dome for panoramic views of Rome. Next, take a guided tour of the basilica and marvel at art and architecture such as Bernini’s baldachin and Michelangelo’s "Pietá." Explore every tiny detail of the historic building and get insights from your guide. At the end, you can visit the papal crypt at your own pace. Please note that this tour only operates in English.
